Stoney Road
Stoney Road borders Woodland Park so because of that it has many suburban characteristics.
It is mostly composed of neat row houses.
Although the demographics have changed, Stoney Park still has a bit of the Italian American character left to it.
This is where Teresa Guidice grew up and it is home to Il Barista Coffee House.
The house in the middle was where Teresa Guidice grew up before she became a celebrity, at 39 Nagle Street.
Nice split levels in the Stoney Road section.
The office building in the background is The Record, a North Jersey daily newspaper.
Dominican presence in Stoney Road.
La Vie
Il Barista
One of he best and authentic coffee shops in the world. Starbucks and Panera? Fuhget about 'em!
I will never forget this coffee shop when I continue to travel to other countries.
There was an older man who walked into the coffee house and said "I want some coffee frio." The woman behind the register replied "We don’t have coffee frio."
In a typical Northeast attitude, he replied to the female clerk..., "Get the !#$@ out of here." He then walked out to the back cursing and yelling "Close this joint the F out!" I love this place.
The female coffee server, I forget her name, was a very friendly woman When I asked her if she was from here, she said she was originally from Paterson and even though the city has changed from when she was growing up, she still is invested in the city. There is even a place where she does her nails on Market Street.
She was warm and open but bold as well. When someone asked if she was rich, she responded "Yeah I'm rich that's why I'm working here."

This is probably the best cappuccino I have ever tasted in my life! and I have tried coffee in Europe as well as the New York and New Jersey area.
Beautiful Homes in the Stoney Road section.
